Bodyguards are extremely durable and fierce melee fighters. The Bodyguard taunts all enemies to attack him, allowing the rest of the group to work uninterrupted.
The Bodyguard Character Class is full of close-combat fighters who fill the role of primary tank, as they are able to withstand more damage than the other character classes, and is also able to inflict significant melee damage. They wear large-sized (L) clothes which have more armor than small-sized (S) clothes. They also have higher base stat for armor than other classes. They are the only class in the game that can contribute strong melee weapon damage, thanks to their versatile melee skills.
In a group, bodyguards should get and keep the enemy's attention (aggro) on themselves. Bodyguard's skills generate the most threat from all the classes, and they attempt to keep aggro off other characters.
"Aggro" is a term regarding how angry an enemy is at the players. A bodyguard's job is to anger the enemies enough that they will focus their attack on them.
Deals additional X damage and slows down the attacks of all nearby enemies for X seconds.

Taunts the enemy to get their attention.
This will make the target more biased to attack you instead of others. This does not guarantee that the target will only attack you. Other mercenary or player actions (ie. another BG using Taunt, a Hunter causing overwelming damage, a Doctor giving huge healing bonuses) will still influence an enemy to attack someone else.

- Single "area hit" with additional damage.
- Causes temporary stun to all opponents within range of attack.
- Causes high Threat (Aggro) to enemies within impact area.
